Who is Cara Leoni?

Cara Leoni is a comedian, educator, and self-described rascal. Growing up in Wauconda, Illinois, she moved to Colorado in 2012 to attend the University of Northern Colorado and has since made her mark in the local comedy scene. Cara is the co-producer of several standout shows, including the Colorado Queer Comedy Festival, The Matriarchy Presents, and Shrimp Tank. In addition to producing, she has performed at comedy clubs across the Front Range and featured on sold-out shows from West Virginia to Chicago.

 

Offstage, Cara works as an educator and advocate while also volunteering in LGBTQ+ activism.

 

You can find her running comedy shows, performing at local clubs, or knee-deep in a creative project she’ll never finish.
